Week of 3/18
This week in seventh grade students are going to be learning about Suminagashi and water tension. We will be creating our own prints and learn about contrast and patterns.
This weeks students will be looking at some blackout poetry. We will be work with a variety of materials to create a piece of artwork that will go with our poetry.
Students will be learning about the Maori people. We will learn about different color schemes and patterns. Students will apply a Maori symbol with watercolors and patterns in pens over top the watercolor.
***ASSIGNMENTS ARE UPDATED WEEKLY BY GRADE LEVEL AND CLASS. DUE DATES ARE POSTED BASED ON CLASS PACING.
****IF YOU ARE ABSENT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING UP MISSED WORK. IF A PROJECT OR ASSIGNMENT CANNOT BE TAKEN HOME TO WORK ON, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE UP THE MISSED TIME IN THE MORNINGS IN THE ART ROOM FROM 8:15-8:45 A.M ON FRIDAYS OR BY APPOINTMENT. YOU HAVE ONE MAKE UP DAY FOR EVERY DAY OF YOUR ABSENCE.
